Turn Your Military Benefits Into a Career Credential!

Credentialing Assistance and COOL are little known military programs that fund professional certifications in Cybersecurity, IT, Project Management, HR, Lean Six Sigma, and more.
Proudly serving service members at Maxwell AFB, Keesler AFB, and Army and Air National Guard units across Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

What's Credential Assistance?

Credentialing Assistance (CA) is a military funded benefit that covers the full cost of professional certifications. It's extra free money you're entitled to, on top of your Tuition Assistance.

Who is it For?

Active Duty Army and Air Force, National Guard, Reserve, and DoD Civilians all qualify.

How does it benefit you?

This is the kind of credential that changes what job offers look like. Certifications in Cybersecurity, IT, Project Management, and HR are tied to some of the highest paying, most in-demand roles in the civilian job market, often starting well into six figures for the right role and experience level. Instead of competing for entry level jobs, you walk in with a credential employers actively recruit for, funded entirely by a benefit you already earned, at no cost to you.

Alex Ramos

Veteran, U.S. Army | Former Sergeant

Coach, Mentor, Community Leader

I'm Alex Ramos, a veteran, coach, mentor, and community leader with decades of experience developing people from all walks of life. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree, which has strengthened both my professional knowledge and my lifelong commitment to learning and growth.

While serving in the Army, I was assigned to the World Class Athlete Program (WCAP), where I competed to represent the Army in the upcoming Olympics. My MOS was 92A, Automated Logistics Specialist, and I was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado, and Baumholder, Germany.

For more than 40 years, I've been involved in boxing, coaching and mentoring athletes from beginners to national champions. Through coaching, I've learned that success isn't just about developing athletes, it's about helping people build confidence, character, discipline, and the belief that they can overcome any challenge. I'm still active in the sport today as an Inspector for the California State Athletic Commission.

My goal has always been to use my experiences, both the successes and the challenges, to help others find a better path, reach their potential, and become the best version of themselves.

My philosophy is simple: your past does not define you. What you do with your experience, and where you go from here, does.

What our Service Members are Saying

P. Edgerly

“I really enjoyed the course, especially the practice tests. The training gave me a stronger understanding of process improvement, the DMAIC framework, and statistical process analysis. The material was valuable, practical, and gave me skills I can apply to real-world process improvement projects.”

A. Martin

“I really enjoyed this class! The material was well organized, easy to follow, and very practical. I gained hands-on skills in Linux command-line navigation, system security, file permissions, shell scripting, and system administration that I can use in both my military and civilian IT career. It was a great learning experience.”

K. Kulp

“This training gave me valuable knowledge that I can put into practice, especially in implementing technical security controls, understanding compliance, and assessing and managing risk within an organization. I came away with a much stronger understanding of cybersecurity and how these concepts apply in real-world environments. This PMP cert helped me land a job immediately.”
